They're all just trading players. i say this without commenting on the quality of the departures/acquisitions. Just an observation.

They should make is so you can transfer on a weekly basis. Keep a jersey of every different color in your closet just in case.

Could you imagine if they could transfer weekly. A player could play for different teams every week of the season. That could make it really interesting and make it hard to scout matchups. We could have had a kicker transfer in. Well we do have one for next year.

Jump from NAIA is going to be a big leap. Guessing the new OL coach had a lot to do with this one.

Anyone hearing rumors on Transfer Portal RB?

We got OL, LB, WR, QB, K now for an RB.

Just finished watching the press conference to introduce the new coaches. With Guidugli, Binns and Stewart it looks like Coach Fickell is building a special football culture at UC that might last. I'm not sure how I can stand the seven month wait until it starts.

It’s exactly what any program would want! Unlike most, I can’t help but love the connection these former Bearcat and Buckeyes are making!

Guidugli, Binns, Stewart, Fickell, Tres (I know but uncle), and the fan favorite of both Coombs!

I think we're pretty set at RB right now with who we have on the roster, probably not actively looking, but would listen if the right one came out and asked. My guess is we're still very much interested in trying to find a pass rush in the portal if any becomes available.

Bolded, well said and thanks for posting this. It's really inspiring and they're all impressive. But how exciting is it to see Gino and Walter in key roles at their University?

Looks like they may have moved up a guy from Grad Asst to the TE coach. Nate Letton is being reported by Rivals. Don't know too much about him.

This is why I love the spring game. Better than some of the early ball games. An oasis in the middle of the desert.

Damn, I'm ready to suit up and run through a wall [styrofoam] for Coach Coombs and Coach Cummings after watching their intro pressers. I used to poke fun at Kerry but his role on our team is a perfect fit. Really impressed with Cummings. Fukkin' A the Big Boy Program continues to run down the tracks!

If you read between the lines, it sounds as if Ben is going to be the guy, not Prater.

I mean-- you bring in a guy who was neck and neck with Des two years ago who just threw for 3100 yards in a season. Evan, although talented, has thrown a whopping 11 passes in his career. Unless the gap in ability is huge, history has shown that coaches go with the more experienced guy in that situation.

I've never been a fan of platooning quarterbacks, but might this be the year? Prater in rushing dominant sets and Bryant in passing ones. And either could pass or run to keep a defense off balance.

RE: 2022 Bearcat Football
The offense as a whole could look a lot different. Geno alluded to wanting to spread the boundaries more and play with increased tempo at an interview during Senior Bowl week. I think the safe bet is that Denbrock had more of a conservatives, traditional philosophy on offense and Geno is looking to make it his own. On that note, plenty of offensive minded programs have worked in those sets for backup quarterbacks. Hopefully we do the same.

68.4% QB 140.5

Only 14 TD'S
7 INT is only concern.

If you watched EMU play...you'd be impressed anyone was able to pass for 3,000+ yards there this year.

I watched them every chance because I thought Ben would return. You are correct 3,121 yards was impressive.
