RE: UTSA
That’s how you smack around an inferior opponent in conference play.

Glad those two guards are gone from them

Ladies going to fall in OT. Hard to get a win on the road when you shoot 30% from the field.

RE: UTSA
My observations.

"Buffin'" needs to be verbized (sort of like that poor bastard from CNN caught toobin' on company time, except that buffin' is a good thing). Quan Jackson needs some more buffin' in his game.

Have we abandoned male cheerleading? We've had cheering dudes as long as we've had cheerleaders. The spirit of Ducky is appalled.

Jamal Son of Buck has a fine stroke but damn his shooting rhythm is slow.

UTSA is a disgrace to the very concept of basketball. Just drop the sport: fire the staff, release their players, implode their gym and never play men's basketball again. I thought we left CUSA to escape raging dumpster fires like this one.

I am impressed by how well the Golden Girl with the knee brace dances in it.

These are my observations.

I had to log in to give rep points for proper use and spelling of passé.

Just during this game I was wishing they still used the Dancing Je'kore video.

He’s shooting sub-15% from three this year, likely even worse after this game. He was definitely not a good shooter before this year, but his shooting percentages have fallen completely off a cliff.

Quan is a tremendous athlete, but his game is driving to the bucket. He is 4-28 from beyond the 3-pt arc (14.3%). He is 68.8% from the foul line and is averaging 10.1 pts/gm. He leads the team with 40 steals.

Last season he shot 29.4% from three.

I agree. His three point percentage is actually lower than what you cited after today’s game. He has taken FAR too many threes and long two-pointers. If you take out layups and dunks, he can’t be shooting better than 15%. When he takes one of those shots we’re basically giving a possession away to the other team. Rein it in, focus on what you’re good at, and do it well - like Lovan.

Completely agree. He's excellent at slashing and playing aggressive defense. Stick to what you're good at.

AK was doing some (hyper)active coaching yesterday! I wished I was down there close enough to hear the conversations that could possibly match up to that body language.

Wonder if AK can work Germany into the transfer portal. Having a guy that big that can put up 26pts would be huge next season.
