He did. He gave Sims the PG duties.

We struggled on offense way before Simms took over PG. Heck, we haven’t had a real plan on offense the entire season. At first everyone was saying our shots just aren’t falling, well it has become obvious we have no idea how to score.

You asked why Siddle hasn’t changed anything up. I gave you a very good example of something drastically changed from the other games. Furthermore, we got absolutely blown out and it’s clear that Sims (you spell it with one “m” by the way), is not a PG. Look at his shot totals vs the rest of the team.

You all can dream all you want, but I’m not going to hold my breath hoping for wins with Sims running the point.

UNCW and W&M look like at best 3-4 win in CAA teams. While the other 8 teams will feast on them.

Got busy and forgot this game was on and I’m glad I did. What a Freaking train wreck. Looks like we are really close to turning the corner, just the wrong one!

0-2 wins at best, IMO.

Way too much standing around today. Geez, move around. It's basketball, a fluid game. You're difficult to guard if they gotta chase you. Very few assists (too much dribbling), which is becoming the norm. The ball moves faster than feet do. Pass and move. If you're gonna struggle shooting, at least make free throws. Man, this was an abject disaster.
Hard to watch.
Hard to accept.
Hard to have hope.

I was more talking about changing up offensive schemes (or to come up with one for the first time this year) not necessarily moving players to different positions. That would be a band aid fix at best. As 82 said only a Michael Jordan could generate points with our half court offense.

On top of that we have a team FULL OF GUARDS and we still can’t shoot from anywhere. It is inexcusable to shoot 4-21 (19%) from 3 and to go 10-22 (45%) from the free throw line. It would be one thing if we walked out a bunch bigs, but instead we maybe have one big man who has been incredibly inconsistent

Oh I’m fully in agreement with you.

To me, this is 100% a coaching issue.

Agree. This is where coaches sink or swim at the mid major level. We saw McGrath definitely sink and it cost him a head coaching job. What Siddle does moving forward will be telling.

After watching the game today I can realistically say we may have 2 more wins on the schedule, Mount Olive and maybe W&M once.

RE: @Jacksonville - GAME 7
We play Mt. Olive, High Point and Campbell before conference play and we are actually getting worse, not better. Siddle had better come up with some radical changes on offense or he is in big trouble. Just as I feared, we wasted two games with this idiotic Sims PG move. Now we have three games to suddenly learn how to run an offense where we can shoot over 35%. His first move better be to get Phillips starting at PG. And I don't care if he has to Youtube some videos about offense, he better fire up the internet.

If anyone on the staff is reading the boards. Here. Let's try this: Credit to 70's...

How we respond the next 3-4 games is critical. Inflection point for this program and Siddle’s career. Not going to suggest anything. Not my job nor do I think I have the answers.
