it's still out there

You got less than a one percent chance of dying. Unless you are like my age over 70. If you are that frightened my advice for you is to not go and let the rest of us enjoy what life we have left.

yeah ... I concur ... I'm getting a booster next week and still wear a mask in a crowd. But it's time to let this virus run it's coarse. You can lead a donkey to water but you can't make him drink!!! HeeHaw 07-coffee307-coffee3

Course

Sheep herd easy

Good luck

Thanks ... Good luck to you Eeyore ... HeeHaw !!

I've had it. I guess that's what pisses me off. I've got natural immunity but somehow a half assed vaccine that's needs multiple boosters is supposed to protect me from something I've already had.

Pure idiocy. I don't blame people for getting the vax. It's a risk reward calc each person should make ...but forcing me to get it or show my papers...no damn way.

Would you fly on a plane if it had a 1% chance of crashing?
This means that, throughout your lifetime, you have about a 0.9% chance of dying in a car crash. SOMETHING MOST EVERYONE DOES EVERY DAY

Why would anyone go listen to squeaky shoes when it could kill them?

The problem with bureaucracy.
Numbers began trending downwards in Memphis and TN in late August.
They trended consistently smaller and smaller.
Meanwhile the SCHD enforced mandates.
Unfortunately, numbers in Memphis and TN began ticking upwards again around Nov 1.
Now, SCHD lifts the mandates.
They are too slow to action - both good and bad.

Your timeline is wrong. SCHD lifted the mask mandate on October 27th, which was a couple of days before the 7 day average started trending back up.

Well I said numbers began going upwards "around Nov 1", so it appears we are on the same timeline, lol.

My point is, the numbers indicated they could have lifted mandates WAY before Oct 27. Besides, we were talking FEF vax mandates not mask mandates. But it still applies.

I think you tend to attribute the numbers to the mask mandates. Whereas I look at the rest of the state - with no mandates, and whose trend exactly matches Memphis. And so I do not attribute numbers to mask mandates.
