I don’t know if we are ready for Vegas but I can’t complain about holding AAMU to 20 points a half.

A&M was a scrappy team on D. Played harder than the scoreboard showed.

Buffen's been a big time disappointment so far. He got big-boyed by AA&M early in the game. That's not good. Hopefully he turns it around. I think LeBlanc has played better, but he's also very similar on the court to Jemison. Hard to play with two redundant, non-shooting threats in the lineup at the same time.

I don’t think this is the case, but just watching, Buffen looks like he thought he’d just dominate this lower competition and is finding it is better than he thought. He needs to play more physical and get better position, and then I think things will start coming to him.

I get the same impression. He really got shut down against USC. He hasn't played with intensity like Jemison and LeBlanc have, either.

Seemed like we had a clear goal of trying to get JJ and Ertel to take shots, and they actually dropped. Hope this can get them on a roll going forward.
