There is no way Birmingham could host an MLS team, Atlanta United has sucked all of that oxygen out of the room

Good luck is all I can say.
...one thing I noticed from the video was that there looked to be a big discrepancy in attendance for the different teams - some places would be pretty packed, others had 20 percent or even less - of course we all know how the 'snapshot' of a crowd at any given time isn't the 'true count' or whatever, but you would think a 'official publicity shot' for a given team would show the best crowd possible...
but it will be interesting as to the support... I'll try to go to one or two, but then again, I need to get to a UAB game first! (which is gonna be an issue with 'we' as a fanbase, who DO support bball, but can only stretch the $$$$ so far on average...)

Any Atlanta or Nashville pro sports team is Birmingham's team

The crammed-full Nissan Stadium at tonight's first round playoff matchup vs Orlando in Nashville would like a word... (Nashville won 3-1 and will go to Philly for 2nd round)
And re-reading your tweet, I may have proved your point. No reason to have MLS in Bham with teams in Nashville and Atlanta

Are you trying to suggest that Birmingham is anywhere near the city Nashville is? They're not in the same ballpark. They're not even in the same universe anymore
