Here's some info:

First contested in 2013, the Gulf Coast Showcase consists of two 8-team college basketball tournaments (one men's, one women's) played in the Fort Myers/Naples area of Florida. The women's tourney is now held a week after the men's.

We play Evansville on Nov. 22, the winners and losers of which will the next day play those from the Vermont vs Oakland game.

In the other bracket are Akron/Fordham & Appalachian State/Delaware.

All of the tournaments' games will be played in the Hertz Arena in Estero, a few miles south of Fort Meyers.

Streaming video is provided only via the FloHoops subscription service.

Vermont gets a decent road win @Northern Iowa (Ken Pom #128) to start the season.

Continue to think that if we can beat Evansville (and Vermont wins their first game), that’ll be our best measuring stick.
