I don't think it is inappropriate of a fanbase like UC's, who has experienced high level success in the past, to expect the coach to take the program to the next step at some point. Cronin just couldn't seem to get over that next step (March success).

I was more than happy to move on and see if the next guy could get it done.

Pretty much where I am at...Nevada left a scar that will always be there for all parties involved. I actually like watching UCLA Cronin and wish him well...he rebuilt UC basketball and is an Alumni that still has pride for the Red and Black. Love that he is helping Wes Miller and maybe once in the B12 there will be another crossover series with UCLA.

Illinois just absolutely collapsed and blew a double digit lead against Marquette. Not expecting UC to win that game especially considering their best player will be back but man it always seems like the good teams UC plays in the non conference always lose right before they play UC.

I am definitely cheering for Mick. Amazing the confidence he has to even strive for UCLA, and then earn the respect of players who are so highly regarded.

Temple is getting blitzed for the second straight day in their tournament. Staring at 1-3. Really need Wichita to win a few big games (play Arizona tonight) for more opportunities for good wins in conference outside of Houston and Memphis.

i think i still feel the way about x and osu matchup as i did when they did their thing the other time; it felt weird rooting for x

X vs OSU is a game where you hope the head coaches both trip over each other and injure their knees.

And maybe their cheerleaders can brawl.

It will make the Bearcat victory in Cintas next month all the sweeter in Wes Miller's inaugural season.

Their offensive game plan is still to chuck it at the rim and try and get offensive boards. They look bad. Still play hard though

Houston will still end up winning this one if I had to guess.
