I didn't realize Billy Fletcher kicked field goals for South Side or Memphis State. QB also kicking field goals is interesting.

If he's in the backfield, not likely he's going to be a target like we saw with Pollard, Henderson, Gibson, and Gainwell. That is what really helped set our offense apart over the last few years and gives the offense more opportunities in every situation.
The only back that has more catches than Thomas is Weaver … by ONE. Who do you want in there ?
I think all of the RB's have unique characteristics ...
Weaver is probably the best blocker / pass protector, which allows him to blitz pickup or swing into the flat for the dumpoff ..
Clark is probably the best inside runner ....
Watkins is probably the fastest; or to the naked eye seems that way ... He probably is most suited for when we go 2 RB's with him as an in the slot / motion type guy ...
Thomas is probably the best all around .... and has the most upside .... I don't think the first two games were flukes regarding his talent .... right now his issues is in his head with the fumbles .... I noticed against Temple he ran with two arms on the ball consistently .... He's learning the difference in running comfortably with confidence, and running recklessly ....
I kinda like our RB by committee approach right now ... Yes, the fumbles have been an issue, we do have enough depth to have a quality run game ...

No mention this season of Martin. He should be in the stable. The knock is supposedly fumbles, lol. But, I mean...

I agree but of the backs you do have I would say that Thomas has the worst hands of the group. I believe I read he has the most drops on the team somewhere.
And you are right, 57% of his completions are to those two guys. I would guess his target rate for those two would have to be 65% or higher which is another reason the offense struggles.
Dude about blew his hand off with fireworks.

Why can’t one of the qb be used as a running option

Seems like we should incorporate some Wildcat plays. it seems to me we are slow om our handoffs. Run the Wildcat and hit the hole...

...but with the wildcat 99% of the time the defense KNOWS it's gonna be a run-----2 predictable --1 dimensional
