I don't think most students are fans anyway, they just want to do whatever puts there out there socially. They could tell you something about OSU or Notre Dame football far quicker than they ever could about KSU. With the stadium off campus I'm surprised at the amount that does make their way out there, no matter how easy the school makes it on them. Students leaving games at halftime is also a normal occurrence, even at schools that are winning or in close games (see Bama and their hassles over the years).
