I remember about 10-15 years ago, Indy, Iowa, and MSU were all ranked about the same, around #70. Looks like Iowa and MSU have dropped a little.

Iowa State, Mizzou, and Kansas get a lot of good press for being AAU members, but their rankings don't seem much different from non AAU members Neb and Ok.

UCF, Hou, and Cincy seem decent enough for the New Big 12, but I could see why the Big Ten would stay away.

Still surprised the ACC took Louisville. I can see why the ACC avoided WV. But its all about football.
