The rollercoaster ride continues as the Golden Flashes travel to Iowa City to face the number five Hawkeyes. I expect a competitive game. Hey, the Golden Flashes lead the Hawkeyes in one category: Iowa ranks number two in the country with six interceptions. KSU leads the country with eight interceptions.

Hey all, Iowa fan here. I thought I'd stop by and give a super quick rundown of Iowa.

Defense: Great
Special Teams: Very Good
Offense: Baaaaad

I watched a video of your A&M game. I saw you were able to get some pressure on the QB but he was able to extend the play with his legs. That's basically the opposite of Iowa's QB. Petras has the arm to make all the throws when given a clean pocket, but he's panics early and can't scramble at all. I expect you to log a couple sacks.

I think Iowa will really try to get the run game going, but they are starting RS FR at both tackle spots and things have been pretty shaky so far. Still, I think they'll find some success there.

I see the line opened at 22.5. If forced to choose, I'd probably take the under, but I'm personally staying away from it all together.

This may be a stupid question. but does Kent State football/basketball have a radio home? I'll be in my car quite a bit Saturday and would like to know if they are on the radio so i can listen.

That’s a big NO ! You need the Athletics App and you can listen thru the app …. Sometimes.

You can listen without the app. Just go through the game preview at kentstatesports.com.

I suspect they save a lot of money by not having to buy four hours of airtime from a station.

Two hours until game time!!

Great day to play football, place is packed with Flash fans as it’s a sea of yellow out there.

After a couple big runs they ended up holding Iowa and forcing them to punt. Second time out there the D held them again. Need to get this offense cranking as eventually the lesser talent and depth will wear you down.

$#&@! Bad snap and a safety. I thought Crum got the ball back to the goalline. Can’t shoot ourselves in the foot and expect to hang with a power program.

A couple of nice passes on this drive and on the board! 9-7!
Run game isn’t getting much so Crum is going to have to get it in the air.

Nice, helmet on the ball popped a fumble out, going to need every break we can get in these games.

This announcer keeps saying"flash fast defense" and it is cracking me up. He clearly doesn't understand what flash fast means.

I was just thinking that same thing anti.

Need some stronger punts when you want to flip the field.
