Quarterback Max Brown (6-3, 205) of Tulsa (Okla.) Lincoln Christian School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this evening, via Twitter.

A class of 2022 recruit, Brown was offered a scholarship by the Chippewas on June 12. He chose CMU over reported offers from Washington, Temple, Sam Houston State and Houston Baptist.

Brown becomes the 15th known commitment in the Chippewas 2022 class.

Brown is also a college baseball prospect who could play for the Chippewas.

Really like the looks of this recruit. Hope he sticks with the Chips as more offers will definitely be coming. Perhaps the prospect of also playing baseball will keep him in Mt Pleasant. It worked for Drew Hensen at the college level. Golden Tate also played college baseball for Notre Dame (yes I know he was a WR).

I agree, Nash, this kid's tape looks good. Not sure where schools like Tulsa, SMU and Rice are at with quarterback recruiting, but Brown is being talked about in some circles as the top QB prospect in Oklahoma's 2022 class.

$ucks that we don't have a QB then in this class. But there is always the portal or the late signing period in February to get a QB I suppose.
