Even the AAU guy that everyone worshipped, was a big Tubby supporter in the beginning. He said so here and on Memphis sports radio, until Tubby wouldn't bow down to him.
But, that wasn't the point of my statement. You're just looking for a message board fight, because that's what you enjoy.
Nobody was thrilled; most were not happy. What Easterwood said, was that he was a great X and O's coach, but he questioned whether or not he could recruit.
You make a lot of weirdo statements about Tubby not bowing down, not playing the game, etc. The programs that do include Villanova, Duke, North Carolina, Gonzaga, Michigan, UCLA, Texas, Kansas, Loserville, Kentucky, Michigan State...literally the best programs in the country.
IF Easterwood was the only one who wouldn't bow down to him, that would he one thing. The fact is, nobody liked his lazy over the hill self, or his incompetent lazy staff, right from the start. Nobody would give them the time of day.

Tubby went on vacation when we had 7 players on scholarship. Not many were thrilled, and it took two weeks from when he was hired, for everyone to see what a lazy check cashing has been, he was. Predictably, you still defend him. I expect nothing less from you.
Two Weeks After The Hire...Everyone Knows It's A Disaster
I enjoy the whole experience of calmly and methodically rebutting everything you say with facts, going back in time and quoting all of your hilarious mistakes, and watching you not be able to control yourself and go crazy.
Don't lose sight of the fact that everything you say turns out to be the opposite of reality. That's who you are Mensa's.
I knew that you were going to take my singular point (not about Tubby, but about those that hired him), and turn it into a $hitshow that had nothing to do with my point.
Quote:We already established the fact that sometimes very smart people do very dumb things. 90% of the board realized that it was a **** hire from the start.
This was my very correct and concise response to your post. It's not my fault that (as I stated), you can't control yourself and turned it into yet another rant about how mean I am.
Oh, I don't think you're mean. But, it's abundantly clear that you have nothing better to do than to reply to a post on one subject, with multiple quotes of ground we've covered literally hundreds of times, of a different subject.
If my posts to you convey that I think you're "mean", then I truly apologize. I don't think you're mean, at all. A lame douche, that ruins most threads in an attempt to validate himself...absolutely. But mean, nah.
I'll say it for the 483rd time...I think Tubby was a bad hire at the time, despite the fact that the most honorable man I've ever known (who spent his entire life in college athletics as a coach and administrator), knew Tubby personally and thought he was a really good human being.
But yeah, please feel free to continue to beat a dead horse and do whatever makes you feel better about yourself. You clearly need the attention and validation.
You are a confused little man. It is a thread about Tubby that you commented on. The entire premise of the thread is rehashing what a stupid hire it was and how much Tubby sucked. I am correcting you, trying to make you less confused. As usual, you can't control yourself, guilty of the exact thing you accuse me of.
So sad Mensa's.
