I can assure you that flying a confederate flag has nothing in the world to do with American patriotism.

Flying a confederate flag is about your love for the south, and I don't mean the south of 1865. Its the south those people grew up in with campouts, hunting, fishing, 4 wheelers, music, weekend barbecues and family gatherings.

Maybe 2% of people who fly a confederate flag do so with racist intent.
