I swear there has been a dominant NHL team somewhere but I didn't watch it enough to have a good memory of who....

The best NFL defense I have ever seen has got to be the 2000 Baltimore Ravens.

I rarely root for defense but I just sat in awe during their run through the playoffs to their Super Bowl win as the Ravens knew their offense basicly had to do nothing, and let the defense win the game. Not only could opponents barely score, they could barely move. It was just amazing.

The Ravens defense set a record for 16-game regular season for fewest points allowed, shutting out 4 opponents.
