It speaks about his arm strength more than anything... White was great here but I am not surprised he was not drafted. I am sure he will get a camp invite and get his shot.

Luka Garza was a first team All-American at Iowa, but isn't even projected to get drafted in the first two rounds. Greg Brown, was 4th in scoring at Texas at 9 and 6, played a total of 25 minutes in their last 3 games, and is projected to be a first rounder.

K Riley Patterson (UDFA) signing with Vikings. Kicking in a dome, that helps.

He clearly stated that his reason for opting out was because of the deaths in his family. If he didn't like it at Memphis, he would have gone to another school. If he was so set on the draft, he would have declared at the end of the season or maybe even sat out the bowl game. He didn't do either of those things.

He for sure wouldn't have done all of the hard and often boring work all winter, then through the summer and then opted out right before the season started. The season is the fun part. Why are people still second guessing him?

He could not declare at the end of last year, due to the NFL eligibility rule of "3 years after your HS class".

I think there's plenty to support the theory that sitting out did cost KG draft spots. He joins the NFL with just 18 college games under his belt - that has to be right up there with the all-time least experience.

But it's a personal decision, and he did what he felt like he needed to do.

Agree. Brady never really seemed to have NFL-caliber arm strength.

I’ve never been worried about Brady. I think he might find a backup spot in the NFL. Or if he wants he might make a go of it in Canada. But he’s got so much on the ball, so to speak, besides football (and so many degrees!) I think he is well prepared for success in multiple arenas.

Linebackers between 205-225 LBS and defensive linemen between 230-270 LBS, will make the CFL a tough go for Brady.

Very surprised that no other Tigers have been signed as UDFA yet ... Wonder what's the hold up ? or have they signed and names just not released yet ??? some of the NFL teams show just a few signed, while others close to 20 ...

Yeah, I would have thought to hear news by now.
Really expecting Brady and the punter to get UDFA invites, at least.

RE: NFL Draft - Memphis Tigers
I was hoping more Tigers to be picked during the draft.

I hope they get picked up as Free Agents.

I know this group wasn't as dynamic as the classes before. But, I hope they're given the chance.

Yep.
Football isn’t his only chance at success. Unlike many players.
