Little Rock Wins Game Two Over The Cajuns In Unbelievable Fashion!
4-3. The Trojans were down to their final out, down one in the bottom of the tenth, when a throw to first by the third baseman for what was almost a sure final out got away from the first baseman and allowed two runs to score! It’s one of those I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen it kind of endings!
Little Rock led 2-0 going into the top of the 8th, after Funk had pitched 7 solid innings. Then, with Barkley not available, the Trojan bullpen was really, really bad. Three hit batsmen, walks, pickoff throwing errors, few strikes, you name it! They allowed a two run lead to turn into a one run deficit.
But great fielding plays by Williams and Rodriguez in the outfield saved the day on defense, and pure fortune and luck pulled out the game in the bottom of the tenth! And with this victory, Little Rock takes the series too!

Bullpen wasn’t really, really bad. Unfortunate for Wallner that the ball hit the mound and went over Hussein. Weatherley was lights out, but oddly pulled. TWill did save Hunt. And Degadillo was very good as well.

Maybe you are right, but three hit batsmen is hard to overlook. That is not on anybody but the pitcher. But my perspective might be askew after getting used to Barkley coming out of the pen with dominating performances!
