It was different when we were both football independents. Then they joined the ACC and we didn’t.

MSU Bullies are scheduled to play us in Memphis this yr.
In 2019, Ole Miss came to memphis.
In 2017, UCLA came to Memphis.
I do understand that NCAA football has changed. But imho, playing teams only for one away game is going the wrong direction with our scheduling.

I went to the Memphis-FL game when we beat them in the swamp. I think UF was ranked 10th at the time & had AA Emmitt Smith. Talking to their fans afterwards, many expressed we seemed to have a stronger team & wondered why they couldn't recruit our level talent. Think we beat them again at home the next season but don't recall.
