Thinking of the past when Jimmy Valvano of NC State won the NCAA championship in 1983. Could it happen again, either Houston, better yet UCLA ? If not, if Gonzaga wins it all, will this be their first NCAA title ?

Hmmm, Houston and UCLA Cinderellas? Certainly not Houston and UCLA is a strong program. When I think of Cinderella I think FGCU or something.

Houston was very highly ranked, so on that I agree. UCLA winning as a play-in team even with the strong history and name would deserve the slipper in my book. I think we're about to find that UCLA benefit from an over-rated Big Ten and SEC. Iona gave Alabama trouble, morreso than did Maryland. UCLA beat ALA, Mich St. and Michigan. If they give Gonzaga a game, let alone win, they should take the COY trophy out of Howard's office and send it to Cronin.

Looks like Big 10 was way overrated
