Bleh, an AR has very little kick. I've seen preteens shoot them no problem. Now are they loud? Oh my yes LOUD. :)

My neighbor had his 6 year old daughter shoot his AR and she loved it. She didn't cry like the Karen in the video. What a puss.

And besides, his head is on the side opposite the ejection port and it looks as if he has plenty of clearance.
