Not a bad start to a college career
Pendleton, a freshman for Florida Atlantic, made his college debut on Saturday against UCF. The catcher launched a grand slam in his first career at-bat, which came in the bottom of the second inning. That made it 5-2. As if that weren’t enough, FAU batted around, and Pendleton launched a second grand slam in the inning to make it 12-2!

I doubt that the NCAA record for RBIs in an inning was more than 8.

RE: Not a bad start to a college career
In baseball, we talk a lot about records that will never be broken. I think we have some that are pretty "safe" in this case:

1. Most home runs in the same inning in your first college at bats.
2. Most consecutive grand slams to start your college career.
3. Most RBI's in your first 2 college at bats.

I would think much more generic records have also been set; Grand slams in an inning, RBI's in an inning, home runs in an inning, although the last 2 are likely "breakable" if they haven't been already (on the college level).

Believe it or not, I was listening live to the Cardinals game when Fernando Tatis hit his two grand slams in the same inning.

Pretty amazing. I doubt anyone will ever break the record by hitting 3 in the same inning.
