I hope UVU's best player (I forgot his name) is not out for too long. If he was in for the rest of the game tonight, it would not have been a 3 point victory.

CBU is capable of beating GCU on a good day, but they can be streaky, so I wouldn't be shocked to see GCU win by 20 plus.

UVU definitely has a lot of talent, but I think NM State pulls a turn around ala their CBU rematch.

If Frank Staine and Gooden can have good nights on the same night, Dixie will get the win.

Bad reffing tonight. There were some BS calls for NMSU. I am happy for the win, but damn...

I watched the 2 games on WDN, so I missed seeing GCU and CBU.

Looking at those stats, it appears pretty even. What surprised me was CBU only hitting 4-16 3's. I expected Cal Bap's best chance for a win was lights out 3 point shooting, which they didn't have. I wish I'd been able to watch. Sounds like it was hotly contested.

Utah Valley and NMSU didn't look especially sharp on either side. It could have turned chippy at a few different points in the game as it was physical in the paint. Neither coach can be very happy with their team after this game as both blew lots of chances and looked mediocre. Overton played well. Fuller, the transfer from Weber doesn't get much time, which is a shame because he's a nice player. Doesn't really have much of a role with UVUs other big men.

Unsurprisingly, with decent shooting, Dixie got the win. They were down 2 players and had a very short bench but took care of business. Isaiah Pope hit 6 3's and had 22 points for Dixie. He was wide open time after time. Judkins out coached the other side tonight as he made the meaningful adjustments needed and didn't serve up the same old dish as yesterday. Dixie looked much sharper on offense and really ran their sets well tonight.

Hard to believe that RGV has so few conference games in at this point. Makes the standings a little wonky since they won't be able to complete a big part of their conference schedule most likely.

No team could really pull away CBU seemed to be tired from the night before but Lever and Frayer played below expectations offensively and the Great Dane has 3 possessions in the last 2 minutes that he turned the ball over. It was GCU's game to win by 7. CBU after the win were celebrating and taunting the students at GCU. It looked like when GCU beat SDSU for the 1st time. This matchup is one to watch every time they match up. Very fun!

For CBU, it is always enjoyable to beat GCU. The women swept GCU this weekend to clinch the regular season title and that should clinch a berth in the WNIT. It is going to be a lot of fun once CBU gets through this four year transition!

Update: 116-51. 41 steals between the two teams and too many temper issues.

Unless Perez (the DCC guy) was an Oscar-worthy actor, it connected quite solidly, although he did not appear to be injured. There was some provocation going on but Levi of all people ought to know how to deal with that.

Thats crazy! The guys are really dealing with losing Hill and I'd imagine are on the thinest of margins before going 0-100. Hope the program gets them an outlet to let out their emotions in a safe place.
