Two weeks to prep for the best chance, on paper, we have had at a major out of conference scalp in a long time and our short weeks are set up for our two weakest opponents in the conference and no conference teams have a bye before playing us. I like it....almost like the conference has finally figured out how to give its best teams advantages necessary to run the table.

Glad the conference keeps the Xavier guy who runs the AAC hoops away from the FB side of things.

I think Georgia was better than ND at the end of the year. Georgia was certainly more talented than ND. I think Notre Dame was better than Georgia until Georgia figured out the QB situation.
Honestly wish i could go to every away game. Greenville in November might be miserable but other than that...I hope to make it to IU, ND, and finally to Navy.
Prob the wrong place to ask this, but have we added any OLine depth via transfer yet? That's my biggest concern for next 2021. (That and I'd love to have the Ben Bryant safety net in case Ridder gets banged up).

Notre Dames loses a lot of talent from last year- but it’s still Notre Dame, there is talent waiting in the wings. Plus we’ll be traveling to their place and the refs we be life long Notre Dame fans named Pat, Terry, Shawn, Mickey, Brian, Marky, Ricky and Danny.

James Tundstall, who was an FCS All-American at Stoney Brook. The tackle position is going to be the one to keep an eye on this season.

Beating ND in front of a full house in South Bend is a very tall order, especially if they get a little home cooking from the officials. Let's hope the 'Cats can take down IU the week before. A split of these two games and solid conference performance puts UC in the driver's seat for the NY6 again. Losing both might mean winning the conference again won't be enough if the ranking nosedives after a 2-2 start.
But it's a great schedule in terms of headliners and conference matchups and game locations.
The only downside is that after game 4 could already be out of the NY6 conversation. Don't get me wrong, a conf championship would still be nice, but being in the title talk until the end is what made this year so exciting.
I know, I know...on the flip side, after game 4 we could be firmly IN the NY6 or CFP conversations. So, I'll have faith and look at it as the glass being half full!
I have a lot of hope after how well we competed with UGA. Really concerned about our offensive and defensive lines and depth which is what cost us the Peach Bowl imo.

Really it was our offensive line depth at left tackle that probably cost us the Peach Bowl. Defense held up really well all game and defense was missing its two All Americans.
I hope you gents understand how potentially big this is for our program. Imagine the hype, the storylines, the national brand attention, the media love for Big Fick and Ridder if...
Cincinnati [3-0]
Myamuh W
Murray St W
@Indiana W
Notre Dong [4-0]
@Florida St W
Toledo W
Purdue W
Wisky [Soldier Field] W
Could be our biggest regular season game ever. Yes I said it. EVER.
I realize that this is a 2021 schedule release, but curious about the 2020 cancellations. We're obviously not going to just play a game at Western Michigan, nor is Nebraska simply going to come to Nippert without a return game. Any idea of how this might shake out?

Likely all just water under the bridge, people will just move on to 2021 as if those games happened (this isn’t a UC take, this is all of CFB).

Yeah, the only other way to handle it really would have been to push everything back one year. But that obviously didn't happen. So now, the only thing that can be done is for all of college football to just move on and not allow 2020 to cause any future non-conference schedule madness. We would have beaten Nebraska handily regardless.
