RE: MBB Recruiting 2022
Some AAU circuit updates:
> Not much info on what games our coaches have been watching because there are a bunch of schools recruiting experts list before us. Seems like the games we've been confirmed at is Gamepoint-Ohio Basketball, West Coast Elite-Illinois Wolves, West Coast Elite-NE6, Houston Hoops-Team Durant. Obviously can't know who exactly we're watching, but among the guys on those teams who we've shown interest in are Amaree Abram, BB Knight, Austin Benigni, Devon Arlington, and Jalen Quinn
> An update for guys who we have offered: Amaree Abram is showing out (averaging 18.5 points) for a good Houston Hoops team, BB Knight has really struggled shooting (just 7% in three games), Austin Benigni has seen a lot of time on the floor as the "intangibles" guy (24.7 minutes but just 5.0 points), Luke Hunger has been very good (16.2 points, 7.4 rebounds), Arop Arop has struggled to break through (just 7 minutes in 3 games), Connor Essegian has averaged 20.5 points through two games, Isaiah Barganier has been decent (6.4 points), Danny Wolf is showing why he'd be a great fit in Pera's system (5.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists), Duke Brennan has been decent (12.5 ppg, 8.2 rebounds), KyeRon Lindsay has been really, really effective (16.4 ppg, 9.2 rpg) for a good team, Xavier Amos scored 15 points in his only game, and Jalen Quinn scored 12 points in his only game.
> Lindsay is the guy who's impressed me the most. Incredibly fluid for his size and plays with awesome body control. I think he'd be a stud at the mid-major level. But he just picked up an offer from Oklahoma State and is quickly departing our price range. His social media presence seems to be that of somebody wanting to play in a major conference, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
