Wiggins and Gardner named to AP All-America 2nd Team
Title says it all...first position players to be named All Americans in quite some time. I believe Gilyard was the last in 2009.

Gilyard was never named to the AP AA list. I think Derek Wolfe was 2nd team in 2011.

You're right about Wolfe, he was a second teamer for the AP. Gilyard was a 2nd Team WR by the AP and 1st team by the AFCA in 2009.

Sauce just named first-team All American by the FWAA. Absolutely huge.

Sauce was just named 1st Team All American by the FWAA. He has now been named in 4 different All American lists as a true sophomore...pretty incredible stuff, and you would have to imagine he'll be on the shortlist for the Thorpe Award next fall.

Really...depending on who all returns, we could have guys in the lead pack for the Thorpe, Mackey, Outland, O'Brien, and Heisman next year honestly. It is insane how much talent there is on our roster now, there hasn't been a time like this at UC for football.
