Yup been saying it all week. We got stuck with the worst matchup besides OU. Give me UF/UNC/Oregon with all their opt outs or a really overrated isu
Depends what your looking for. We played one of the top 5 talented teams and held our own without a handful of our best guys. I think that's a better building block than beating a 4-2 Oregon team in a Fiesta Bowl. We got a lot of positive recognition yesterday; probably more than beating a mediocre P5. It's nice to be able to say Fiesta or Cotton Bowl champs but if we're trying to be top 10 again next year we grow more from this. Would anyone really give us credit for beating ISU?

Destroying the Pac-12 champ likely wouldve further marginalized that conference to the point that the discussion about who the 5th power conference is mightve been started in earnest.

This is a really good point and I suppose it comes down to preference. Banner vs competition. The selfish side of me would rather have the banner, but taking uga head on and beating them at their own game probably brings much more respect

OK, if the final rankings have Iowa St. anywhere between Georgia and and us, my ahead may just explode.

FWIW I thought Iowa State looked very good.

I’d be interested in seeing the viewing numbers. I’m guessing the Peach bowl far out paced the games today.
That game left everyone hungry, and that’s a good thing.

I was looking for the bowl game ranking but I guess they will not put that out until they are all done.

I went to Harrison as well. Graduated 1992. What year did you graduate?
Wow. You just never know.
I went to EC, provider of LT relief Luke Collinsworth.
... Hope you guys aren't afraid to play us again next year.
Bailey looked like a baller but had a couple of tipped picks that hurt them.

Saw a couple of good passes. Also saw a bad one. Heard he was not the starter the whole year. He was the 3rd qb. Which could be some of the issue.
