This 4-4 chit is not getting us any closer to breaking .500 all time.

Unfortunately the weakness of our program this year, the lack of improvement/correction of glaring problems, the multiple TOs game after game, the lack of half time adjustments & the downward trajectory of the program year over year will lead to many to be calling for a new coach & even more problematic likely lead to a number of significant transfers out of the program after the season. Couple that with our president leaving & a likely reduction in attendance & we could be in for a sustained period of mediocrity unless we have better leadership at the AD spot than I suspect we have & an incoming president willing to act decisively on several issues.

The sky is not falling for me yet. Turnovers are a problem but we had a new Qb and a bone head play by our best player.. after the first possession, there were adjustments made and gave up less than 300. We moved the ball into the red zones but turnovers by a young Qb hurt us.
Not many adjustments could be made ona offense designed for a pocket passer. We gave up 7 sacks in the first 7 games and had 6 last night. There was some missed blocks but Parrish was lost or too nervous back there
Last 3-4 games we avg less than 5 penalties a game.
We were predicted to win 6-8 games this year and middle of the pack.

The records can def be misleading, depending on what they were taking over. Dockery MAY have been the best coach - we never got to find out what he might have built & he took over a disaster. Similarly, Fuente took over a disaster and suffered many losses in his 1st 2 years trying to dig ys out of the gutter. Dempsey was likely worse than Porter considering he took over a pretty strong program, started off 5-1 & blew it.

Wouldn't say he blew it. Lost a home game to North Carolina a game sandwiched in between a win against Moo St and a close road loss against #8 Georgia. Then the only bad loss was at Tulane that was after losing to Tennessee.
