WHY IS TRICE SITTING?

So we've been looking to 2020 as the year we would finally be back to good and this is what we get. Brutally disappointing. I find it difficult to take that VCU can whoop our tail with practically a team full of freshman and a couple transfers who have never played together until this season. This is just terrible and inexcusable.

We look like a MEAC squad right now. We have like 2.5 players right now

Anyone know how many years Jones has left on his contract? Money being as tight as it is I'm not sure Selig can buy him out. If he knows he's not going to be renewed, think he'd take a reduced buy out and retire? Just wondering what the options might be other than continue this slow death

And our backcourt cannot shoot this poorly for us to win. 2-11 shooting and 16 turnovers. Terrible.

This is the worst team in a long time. Might have been a bit better with Wade. I don’t see much hope.

Thats why this was "the year". Though I think nobody loses eligibility due to Covid. Curry, AJ and X have had bad games. If they had played well, and Wade was healthy maybe it would have been different. But another year, another whooping. Cant disappear in the biggest game of the year. No Long sightings either.

After a year and 4 games, it looks like this is the rule rather than the exception.

Freshman and Sophomores whipping the much more experienced Monarchs ! I guess Rhoades can recruit and their demise was way over exaggerated. Wow...how far we have fallen. We play boring basketball in a horrible basketball conference. That is a bad combination.

I looked it up. Bad news. He's signed thru 23-24. We're screwed. He's got 3 more years after this one.

On the bright side, tickets should be easy to get.

This game has drained all the optimism I had for this team. I truly thought we could have been a top 40 squad this season. Even if we win our awful conference (and we won't because WKU is a lot better) we won't be as good as we should be. Its embarrassing and I expect better from this basketball program. Wood is going to have to start taking some heat for this too.
