Has anyone seen what the ratings were for this game? I've been checking Sports Media Watch, but the last numbers they have are from 4 days ago.

In ESPN’s way too early top 25 poll for the 2021 season published today:

19: Louisiana
23: Coastal Carolina
24: Liberty

While Coastal’s historic season may have ended with a disappointing Cure Bowl, they (and Liberty) clearly made an impression. This is marathon, not a sprint.

That would be very exciting for JMU fans. It would lead to a lot of smack between not only ODU fans, but Tech and UVA fans as well.

But of course that does not matter because we could not get into one of the 4 FBS playoff spots, and it would be a longshot for a Jan 1 game. 07-coffee3

Brett McMurphy had Liberty 25 for next year but I was surprised that he didn’t have Coastal in even his top 40.

I think Coastal will actually be losing a lot of talent to graduation and the draft. They have a top Defensive lineman who was voted an all American and will be drafted high.
