UNCG game thread
This will be the Spartans' first game of the season. However, they have had 104 wins over the last four seasons, so they are a successful program. They return two of their top five players in minutes played, including leading scorer Isaiah Miller at 17.8 ppg. They were not a particularly good shooting team, but they did hit the boards hard.

They have 7-1, 6-10, 6-9 on the roster.

Three Man Weave picks them 2nd in the Southern Conference.

The bedrock of Miller’s rise to coaching stardom is an impenetrable defensive wall, spearheaded by Miller’s lightning quick hands and feet at the point of attack. The two-time reigning SoCon Defensive Player of the Year – yes, that’s right. Miller’s seeking his third straight DPOTY trophy – is like an unchained pit bull at the head of the press, swarming from side to side in constant pursuit of the rock. There’s nothing conservative about this defense. The pressure is unrelenting, showing no signs of relaxation once ballhandlers cross the timeline – that is, if they even get they far.

Two of UNCG's main losses were their two big seniors (6-10 and 6-8), so we should have an edge on the front line.

1.the bigs got to stay out foul trouble.

RE: UNCG game thread
Well we fought back in it but it’s hard to finish the job when your bigs and your best guard get in foul trouble. Quite frustrating to watch.
