Unless Clemson (with Lawrence back) beats them by 20 in the ACC championship game and they miss the playoffs.

Independent in football. ACC is all other sports. Won't be meeting in ACC title game.

This season they are “in the ACC” for one season and can actually win the ACC championship.

Its that kind of always making sure ND is ok and letting them join a conference for one year thats so wrong. We always have to take care of special ND.

I can.

Very on-brand.

You will say anything to push any sort of fairy tale. It is extra hilarious when you say crap that completely contradicts the exact opposite opinion of yours.

That sounds entirely on-brand.

Quote:AlonsoWDC Wrote: There was one NFL game Sunday with any fans at all allowed.
Yet the freaking UofM fanbase eleven years removed from the 4100 game b*tches about 4500 fans during a global pandemic.

Alonso's On-Brand List
- Memphis fans are crazy for complaining about limiting attendance during a global pandemic to 4,500 fans because it is super dangerous
- Employees not wearing masks in Fayette County on-brand for endangering others
- 10,000 kids packed together like sardines, not wearing masks, yelling and screaming, no problem
- Mentioning this complete non issue is on-brand

So in other words, it IS crucial to have 14 out of every 15 seats empty or to wear masks in a store because it saves lives, and anyone who doesn't do this is a serial killer. It is NOT crucial, NOT important, and you are crazy if you think 10,000 kids packed together yelling and screaming is any kind of an issue.

Sounds on-brand to me. Hypocrite Brand.

Just give those kids two weeks. Getting sick from Covid, taking months to get well, and dying with it happens to lots of young people. And there is no telling how many of their family members, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and sheer strangers they will infect.

I never said it wasn't an issue.

It's also incredibly NTR.

You said you couldn't believe that 10,000 fans packed tightly together; many hugging high fiving, not wearing masks; in all sorts of physical contact was even a topic. Interesting how covid only shows up in certain situations. Also NTR, but you felt that this was worth mentioning...

Quote:There's going to absolutely be some COVID going on at Neyland with 25K. Will there be any at LBMS with the measures being taken? Not sure. But possibly no.

Nobody is more on-brand than you are.

Yeah.

Neither Notre Dame nor Tennessee should have that many people.

Basketball is going to be interesting. Indoors with no real opportunity to spread out other than simply limiting capacity. Much different than football outdoors where 10k can still spread out.

Seeing all of the protests and rallies happen is going to change that in many states. I don't know if ticket printing software can do it, but if there is a way to leave 3 seats between clumps of tickets, then it's doable to have 6,000 at our games safely.

Who is the "we" that is taking care of Notre Dame?

Notre Dame's relationship with the ACC (both before, during and after this year) has been (and will continue to be) negotiated between the ACC schools and Notre Dame. Do you not think the ACC conference and its member schools are getting a benefit from their relationship with Notre Dame?

Indoors is a totally different animal. No way they allow 6,000 right now with COVID running rampant.

Maybe 500 - 2,000

lol
When football started, there were 1,700 active cases of COVID in Shelby Co with a local positivity rate of 7%. And the Ministry of Health allowed 6,500 fans into LBMS - a vast and OUTDOOR stadium. Fans had to space 12 feet.
Now, there are 3,500 active cases in Shelby Co with a positivity rate of 11%. And they are allowing 3,200 fans into an indoor arena that is one-third the size of LBMS. Fans have to space 6 feet.
And that group just "follows the science", so we're told.
Happy for fans.
But what a joke the SCHD is.

Maybe some of the peeps on the SCHD are “basketball only” ticket holders and want to make sure they can get in...
