Some Exciting WBB News
Not sure if all of you are aware of this, but the women's program just hired a new graduate assistant coach. A fantastic young lady named.....ALLY LEHMAN! My heart skipped a beat when I found this out because Ally has been one of my all-time favorite Huskies (in any sport). She has completed her stint with the U.S. Army and is now working on a career in coaching. The Huskies could not have hired a better human being and role model. I'm sure she is a superb motivator, too. Good luck Ally and the women's BB team!

Just to give you a little glimpse into the kind of person Ally is, as you are aware, Paulina Castro was sidelined while fighting cancer. When she finally came back on a limited basis, she had her head shaved after losing her hair from the treatments. In an act of compassion and unity with her teammate, Ally came out on the court with her head also shaved. Ally is exactly what we need on this team. I only wish she could play!

Oh, that's awesome news! She's a great talent and leader. I think things will be really looking up for WBB this season if they can stay healthy.

This does seem like a really good hire. She feels like someone who could go very far in this profession.
