Exclamation Troy at #18 BYU - ESPN - 10:15 EST
Troy at #18 BYU
Saturday at 10:15 EST
ESPN
Vegas: BYU -14

Very excited to play this game. Troy AD Brent Jones did a hell of a job setting the Trojans up with a 12 games schedule, and BYU is certainly a formidable opponent. May be the biggest team we've played since LSU or Clemson, they have size and length everywhere in the two deep. I think the line is about right, but I hope we can play it closer or even bring home a "W". Very tough opponent.

Holy crap man. There isn't a single starter in there shorter than 6' 0".

Their o-line is massive. Even their starting cornerbacks are all over 6' 0".

This is a tough matchup physically for almost anybody. Troy hasn't played a team this big since 2017 LSU.

Bring your "A" Game. BYU will make you pay if you don't, as Navy can attest.

Troy has the team speed this season to make anything happen. We just need Gunnar Watson to keep getting better and keep gaining confidence. If he gets rattled, I'm not sure Troy can overcome it.

Well, at least we'll get some eyes on our brand over in the West from people that may have never seen or heard of Troy.

I agree, QB play will be key for us. G.Watson will have to play exceptional and error-free in this game.

I miss the days when Troy fans didn't give a crap what team was across the other side of the LOS, the expectation was a win. A vast majority of NB recruits stayed. Some left. CL has added that talent back and then some. This is not a 5-7 team. Being a realist or Debbie-downer does not exude confidence in what or whom you will be watching Saturday night. There's a W on the menu. Let slip the dogs of war.

The interesting thing is that BYU's normal practice routines have been disrupted for the past two weeks because some players are in quarantine. All of their position groups have had to practice separately, away from other position groups. So their O-line hasn't been practicing against their D-Line, etc.

Troy has been able to practice consistently since fall camp since they've had no COVID positives.

BYU also announced yesterday that there will be NO fans in attendance, after initially saying they would allow 6,000 fans. So there will be no crowd noise for Troy to deal with.

I think Troy's WR's will give BYU some trouble. If BYU stuffs the run, Troy is going to resort to a pass attack, which is already Chip Lindsey's bread-and-butter.

BYU is tough. They've got one of the biggest O-Line and D-Line in the nation. Bigger than many SEC schools.

It's going to be an uphill climb for Troy most of this game.

Better pass blocking would have helped butter the bread.

The way they absolutely bodied Navy to start the season I wasn't surprised at all. They are EXTREMELY physical in the trenches and pretty relentless on offense.

We get to play them next year so yay us.
