University of Detroit Basketball Transfers
The University of Detroit has 5 new transfers for this upcoming basketball season according to the Detroit News. I believe they had 8 transfers last year.

more like an upgrade of the roster. mike davis left a successful tenure as the big dog of the swac to take over a terrible detroit program in a surprise move. among those 5 transfers. i think 4 are immediately eligible including former 4 star and 3 star guys recruited to ncaa tourney level programs, one of whom had some good games playing for seton hall/syracuse, and the other guys are D1 vets with decent resumes and better size compared to who detroit already was losing with. taurean thompson will have a great year under davis against mid major competition. he's a stevie taylor type. a top 100 recruit who wasn't a featured guy in a big program but could really flourish as a 5th year guy under good coaching as a good through player on the mid major level. muscular 6-11 23 year old. one guys who has emerged through the transition as possibly a senior role player, is former rocket dwayne rose jr.

i believe detroit was on the original 20-21 sched, not sure what will happen but a logical game to keep for limited travel reasons
