The Mid-American Conference needs to move to a 10-game conference schedule this season with one (or two) OOC game(s).

I'm waiting to see what Dr. Steinbrecher determines is the best COA in the coming days, but now that all of the P5 conferences have released their plans, the G5s should soon follow.

My hunch is they’re holding out in an effort to have an argument to collect some type of payment from the non-conference games. Essentially, if the other conferences make this change, the MAC can argue that they intended to play the games but their opponent backed out and should be required to pay.

That very well could be the case. Only time will tell!

Did Ball State schedule Iowa State on a previously unscheduled date?
