Speaking of fairness, I have not seen one single FBS logo (P5 or G5) that is worth crowing about. I haven't seen a single one that stands out. The new Belt one is as good as any that are there and that's not saying much.

My other issue is, this is going to cost schools 100-150K to get all the changes made to fields, courts, etc.

And none of us have that kind of money right now.

Guys, it’s a conference logo. It’s not a big deal. It does nothing, either way, for the Sun Belt “brand”.

I mean for Gods sake, the Big 12 has 10 teams and the Big 10 has 14 teams. Outside of like the 30 of us here, no one cares about the “Sun Belt” holistically anyways. SBC, Sunbelt, Funbelt. Who cares, win your OOC games.

This is the part I agree with. Of course logo changes are never quick and they hire some company to do it and it takes months. This was in the works well before COVID and the financial impacts.

Seeing the ULM colors makes me miss the SWT gold.

The school colors come from a wildflower and the natural "gold" is more marigold rather old gold.

I wanted to bump this thread because the more I see the new logo the more I like it. I agree with you, ‘87. I never hated it, but it’s definitely grown on me.

Yeh, it looks better on the jerseys than on the field, imo. I liked the sun burst disc thingy on the field.
