Another player off the radar is Nathan Scott. Haven’t seen him in the last few games.

He did not dress last home game against Miami. Was in sweats. I am guessing he is fighting through injuries this year.

Cochran had two fingers on his right hand taped and during the second half bumped them or something and he was holding his hand because of the pain. He threw all of his passes left handed.

The wrap on his hand was even larger on Saturday. On Saturday, he had it inspected and approved by the referees prior to tip-off. It seemed to be really affecting his shooting, as he appeared to be releasing his shot off the palm of his hand.

The upcoming bye in mid February will be nice for NIU to heal up some of those nuisance minor injuries

I know nothing official but from an observer's position, he's clearly battling with injuries/an injury. He'll go stretches without playing (probably not dressed) and then when he does, he gets a lot of minutes and plays in big moments down the stretch.

It's pretty clear he's not "in the doghouse" or that Montgomery has soured on him or is treating him poorly. When he's good to go, he plays and he plays important minutes.

I've heard rumors that they printed this post, made it into a sign, and have it on a post at the corner of Glidden and Lucinda.

RE: MBB Huskies @ Rockettes
Am I looking at this right? Is the last time NIU had a 6 game in season win streak in conference play in the MAC, 1977?? Could make some 40+ year history Friday. They had some long MCC win streaks but not sure of 6+ in MAC since 70s?
