CUSA TV money isn't there. Ticket sales aren't there due to non familiar matchups. The hoops profile isn't good enough to win you an at large bid.

...why not Indy again? Call up the AAC West and set some series together so that the fans have the matchups against Memphis and Houston back. Fill gaps with Tulane, SMU, and ECU.

Sell some road SEC games and use the money to buy 1 or 2 wins. The cash difference outstrips the CUSA media deal... ...so why not? USM can be back to 9-3 under the right circumstances. Your AD needs to use the leverage he has and get creative....

Thank you! Exactly what I've been saying on these boards for several years now.

If Memphis, ECU, and Houston still wanted to play us, we wouldn’t be in CUSA in the first place, now would we?

Being an Indy G5 not run by either Uncle Sam or the Mormons leads to things like a same-season home-and-home with New Mexico State two years in a row.

Why Liberty and New Mexico State Agreed to Play Four Times in 14 Months

If we could get a few other schools to break away with us to make scheduling feasible, it could work, but at that point, just form a new conference with them instead.
