NCHC Pairwise Rankings Week of 1/13
2. NoDak (Down 1)
4. Denver (No Change)
9. Duluth ( Up 1)
27. Omaha (Up 7)
30. WMU (No Change)
35. CC ( Down 9 )
37. St. Cloud (Down 2)
43. Miami ( Up 1)
Beside the WMU/CC matchup this week it's very much a top v. bottom week coming up. Could see a real divide in points in the league this week. WMU has 4 games remaining against the top 3 teams in the league, and 10 games against the bottom 4 teams.
The top 3 looking strong for the postseason, and the rest looking like a long shot unless someone gets very hot.
WMU has a limited number of games against high ranking opponents yet (and teams like ND, and BGSU aren't playing great now, hurting our pairwise), WMU is really in a boat where their path is about high volume of wins to finish......long story short...getting tough now

Yep, that’s why I posted in the game thread that they need a 9-1 type run. I don’t think it’s likely. But, if they want to salvage the season it’s either a run like that or winning the NCHC Tourney. Those are the only options left.

CHR has WMU with 16 remaining contests (so this doesn't count NCHC tournament). But they said we need to go best case scenario 12-4 to get in. But worst case scenario 15-1.
Since the NCHC games aren't factored in getting 2 or 3 more wins there helps matters.
In reality we probably need to go 14-4 type of record through the NCHC first round to get in.
Pretty tough ask.
