It was productive, but I still say the best lineup is the lineup that closed the game out.

ALo
Tyler
Lester
DJ
Precious

That lineup provides so much space and Precious excels in that 5 spot

That is the frustrating thing with Harris. He maybe the best shooter on the team, but , because of his height and lack of skill development, he is such a liability in other aspects of the game that you almost have to pick your poison playing him. A player his size needs to get at least 2 steals a game, and just be a dog while D'ing up opposing teams guards. But he is such a defensive liability. He needs to develop a better B-Ball IQ and defensive game.

So ... If you watched the game yesterday ... It was the very lineup the OP was talking about ... Subbing Tyler on offense and DB on Defense. Can't do that all game long obviously. Now here's the thing with that lineup. Not having Dandridge in puts Achuwa in foul trouble peril. DJ too. Can you imagine how quick PA would have to sit if we we started him at the 5. Everyone from Houston to ECU would crash the board's trying to get Precious in early foul trouble. So at the end of games yes ... Starting ... I doubt it. 07-coffee3

You are so wrong on the not switching...

The reason we shut them down is Precious was playing the 5 and their guards couldn't beat him, he was blocking their shots a the rim. He was still guarding guards on the perimeter.

Most of those numbers come from playing some really bad teams that were missing wide open 3s one after another. We get mismatched on rotations constantly. Take way too many risks that leave open shots. Fortunately we havent had to pay for it too much, only when we play teams that arent bad.

You do have a point...

But we have been scheming to leave guys open...So yes we are giving shots to guys we want to have them.

But as you said when you get to better teams you may not have any guys to leave and you may have to play straight up or get burned.

I just hate the fact that we switch when we don't have to. Hell we switch off ball even when there aren't screens.
