3 years is a drastic exaggeration. Realistically, he needs to add 45 pounds. That is completely reasonable to do during his redshirt season/offseason headed into his second year assuming a proper regimen of lifting and diet.
From All-Blade Team: Scouting report: The imposing offensive tackle has paved the way for a Patriots offense that amassed 4,679 yards of total offense (2,923 rushing and 1,756 passing). Schwiebert has received a full scholarship to play at the University of Toledo. Patrick Henry (10-3) has also scored 410 points and picked up 169 first downs with Schwiebert leading the way in the trenches. Schwiebert earned All-Northwest Ohio Athletic Conference team honors for the second year in a row. He also was named the district's co-offensive lineman of the year. Also a run-stuffing defensive tackle, Schwiebert also has 45 tackles with fours sacks among five tackles for loss for a defense that is giving up just 17 points per game. A leader on and off the field, Schwiebert has helped lead the Patriots reach the Division VII state semifinals.
Coach says: “His footwork, balance, and flexibility are excellent for a big lineman. He is our leader on the offensive line and makes a lot of calls on both sides of the line of scrimmage. He is very smart in the classroom and on the field.” — Bill Inselmann

Here's the LSU offensive line...
UT needs to be recruiting guys that have the capability to transition into a monster like these guys. How do you guys think our strength program is based on the sheer physical traits of the players over time, the physicality of the team, and injuries?

UT has had 6 OL play in the NFL in the last 2 seasons. S&C isn't a big issue.
And LSU's starting OL this year average 321 lbs. UT averaged 305.

Yes...45 pounds in the gut would be easy, but the dude needs to build a whole lot of muscle mass from next to nothing judging by his arms. It'll take awhile. I don't see him being in a position to contribute until his RS Sophomore year at least (which would be 3 years from now...)

That says a lot about recruiting. I hope the coaching staff can keep that up.
