Should be close to a sellout for Brown’s visit tomorrow. Hope all goes well and he is impressed with all things Memphis.

Unfortuately, it was not a sellout and we got beat by a non ranked team!

ESPN show 97% full with over 17,000 in attendance. Pretty awesome for a “non ranked” opponent who many posters have labeled as not very good... I imagine he was plenty impressed by the crowd. But you just keep trolling

But it was "close" to a sellout considering announced was over 17k

It was also “close” to a win against a lousy team which is another way of saying bad loss.

Our conference must be really really bad as the 3rd best team was beat by this lousy GA team.

They are 10-3 and far from a lousy team. I cannot understand why we have losers like you hanging around insisting on trashing our team. Seriously, go ***** somewhere else.

Ya right okay... we are 12-2 and have played a month without Lester, one loss to top 10 Oregon and other loss we were down our 2nd best player. Considering the circumstances around the season we have had a great season thus far.

RE: Greg Brown visit
There’s a podcast over at cbs sports by Christian Fowler. Interviewed Brown and his father.
Father said he was very impressed by the crowd and that a close friend that came along told him it rivaled North Carolina games. Greg himself was on speaker and was really hard to hear anything he said. Overall his biggest takeaway was the passion MEMPHIS fans have for their basketball program. He also mentioned they attended the holiday hoops fest Saturday night and were blown away at how many people were packed in the gym , he had t seen a basketball gym packed like that since the 70s. They visited the practice facility Sunday morning and Greg was shown around by Alex and Lester. Greg Sr met Penny and entire staff. Said he was impressed by how tight the staff was and all the next level experience.

Forgot to mention, he specifically mentioned he started salivating when he saw Precious being able to rebound and bring the ball up the court as a big. He said something like if they let Greg do that, it’s barbecue chicken. ?

Sounds like the visit went well. Penny is definitely a player's coach and naturally players really like that.

Young players will like the spacing and freedom of all players to make plays in the Memphis offense. They run NBA stuff. Along with full court pressing. Its a big plus.
