#296 in scoring defense
#162 in Assist to Turnover ratio
#308 in blocks per game
#256 in 3pt FG %

yada, yada, yada

Hard to tell much after two games, but so far that's where they stand.

I don't know that we will show stellar deffensive numbers under McGrath. His forte' seems to be offense, and we've scored pretty well under him. We just need our defense to be good enough to win(captain obvious statement, I know). I do wonder what stats he looks at that he thinks are the most important though. Keatts always mentioned deflections, steals, TO's and opponents 3 point % in his interviews. I haven't really heard McGrath focus on any particular defensive stats he is looking ti excel in.

McGrath said today that we will be upping the full court press to actually speed the game up. Campbell apparently likes to walk the ball up.

I'd love to see that. I think it's a good strategy for a four guard set, plus you get the added benefit of more PT for a really deep bench we have.
