Clark always plays his cards very close to the vest with regard to injured player's chances of returning for a specific game. He leaves the other team uncertain, forcing them to game plan both ways and waste effort.

RE: Tyler
Do we really know nothing more of his injury? I think if he doesn’t play, we lose. If we lose, chances of repeating as CUSA champs are slim. I don’t want him getting hurt more, certainly, but if there is any doubt he could play, not sure why you hold him out in probably the most critical game of the season for our championship hopes.

RE: Tyler
Brown played a snap or two.
Johnston looked like he wouldn't be able to play again this season on the sidelines.
Was limping pretty bad.
Lucero should have gotten minutes.

I am by no means a medical professional or expert, but I’m afraid when his knee got knocked into the Tennessee player last week, he suffered a ligament sprain (maybe an LCL). Hopefully not the case, but he still looked very gimpy on the sideline. We’ve got to get him back ASAP, but the damage to our division title chances is likely already done.

He didn't look like he could manage a light jog right now much less play. Hope he's not gone for the season.

Might as well see what Lucero can do. We can play him in the last 3 games and keep his redshirt.
