The way that works with the NCAA & Memphis, it might change 2-3 times between now & season opener. Nevertheless good to hear. The one guy I thought a lock to clear, given he had 3 coaches in one season, was Williams & still nothing.

Because the Evansville AD refuses to cooperate and sign off on the waiver request. If he had done that, it would have been approved months ago. Probably will still be at the last minute. Or later.

A defensive menace, he is young (he reclassified) and I expect significant growing pains (eg, foul trouble). Nevertheless, he will assuredly start Wednesday.

He averaged 18.4 points, 15.3 rebounds and 9.2 blocks per game his junior year at Lausanne - a private school in Memphis.

Ecu is no longer going to Florida and opening the seasoned. Indiana St and Akron pulled out, we're reportedly looking for a replacement game. I hope we can find a couple.

Precious to Miami at #20, little lower than he probably should've gone but he's going to a top 5 organization, so good for him. Now we got to wait two-ish hours to see if Hinton sneaks in in the late 2nd round.

Agree. He'll average about $2.25M a year for the next 3 years, get to live in Miami, and play for a really good team.

What's not to love? Memphis and the AAC got good pub tonight.

Overall, weak NBA class this year. Precious not a lottery player.

What even is the point of this comment? Kid just got a nearly guaranteed $7M to go play with the runner-up to the NBA Championship.... and your response is to point out he went #20 instead of #14.

Good lord

Precious and Bam together on the floor with Jimmy is a heck of a combo. Will be fun to watch.

When Precious signed with Memphis bb experts said he’d go in the NBA lottery. Can see why he dropped as his defense is good, but his shooting is sub-par.

Huh? The consensus on his projected range was late-lottery to late-first round. Which is exactly the range he went in. He didn't drop. A 30-second google search shows early season mocks of him anywhere from 11 to 26. That's not the range for a consensus lotto pick.

Yeah he went about where expected. I remember it as a fringe lottery top 20 type pick. That would suggest that the order of teams in the draft would decide where he went. High quality player with a couple dominant portions to his game, but will need to develop more at the peo level with top end potential. If his offensive skills and basketball iq continue to grow at normal levels he should end up with a nice NBA career and probably be looking to get a max deal at the height of his career. Of course he will need to avoid injury as we hope they all do.

Sigh ... There goes our tourney... We are headed back to Wichita... WSU Players tested positive upon arrival to South Dakota. Games vs Oral Roberts and Missouri are in doubt now too.

How does this season actually happen?

It doesn't teams will be taking weeks off at a time more than likely and at the end the most games played is 8-10.
