For sure not directed at Bill. The fan base as a whole still as expectations of the 90s and press covers them in a similar fashion because they're a huge brand, but the product has been meh for 20 years.

Interested to see how the Pats fan base reacts if they are not perennial super bowl contenders. A lot of that fan base has never really experienced losing. Boston is known to be a big bandwagon town. I made it through the 80's and 90's unfortunately i know it all too well!

I actually loved the Cowboys in the 70s and 80s but pulled against them for a while after they treated Landry badly. I went back when they got Romo and have been back since. If Tony played somewhere else, I would have pulled for them about or just as much.

I was called a bandwagon fan in the 90s because I was/am a big Bulls fan. I always laughed it off because I was also such a big Bears and Cubs fan. To be honest, there is nothing more gratifying than being called a bandwagon fan when you know the claim to be false. As a Cubs fan, being called a bandwagon fan in 2017 was glorious.

As for the NFL, I just have to enjoy Green Bay having limited success with two generational QBs. They're no doubt better than Chicago during my lifetime, so seeing them mismanage the rosters around Favre and Rodgers is all I've got. I really enjoyed their draft this weekend.

Understand completely i get that a lot because of Yankees- Pats. Even though ie geographically made sense to where i grew up. For the better part of my childhood, neither won jack until i was an adult.

I understand the feeling Bricks. Someone at work this past year (it’s my first year in AZ so they didn’t know me too well at the time) called me a bandwagon Bills fan.

I thought that was incredibly humorous. Made me feel like some sort of rare, nearly extinct animal.

For the record, I enjoyed the Bills draft this year, but it was bittersweet because I hated what the draft was this year. It was awful, boring and many times felt like a PBS telethon with all the random stupid singing and Goodell pandering for donations while sitting in his expensive “basement” draft location. All I could think of was that he was nailing that millionaire televangelist look if that’s what he was shooting for.

Recognize there is little risk, that's why he will either be the starter or cut before week 1. It will be interesting to see how he conforms to being in NE. Billy don't stand for the presser drama, nor the excessive on the field celebrations. It is tough to teach heart though, and his career will always be over shadowed by the fumble he watched slip away.

LOL Gronk has been the real exception to the rule. But in terms of "on the field" all that stuff was off. His Gronk spike wasn't really excessive by today's standards. Cam does the damn super man after a 5 yard scramble.
