Look forward to trying to get the conversations going on this board again. Been a busy summer, but I am making sure to have time to follow the school and cheer on the teams.

Thinking about starting a thread for each sport this year just for general thoughts.

Also we now have two podcasts covering Tulsa and I hope the continued AAC podcast to keep stories going.

Any suggestions to get some more people in hear or fun threads would be awesome. We have probably 3-5 pretty regular Tulsa posters and a few lurkers who chirp in from time to time. With more activity we will probably pick up more fans looking for a place to talk Tulsa sports.

Rivals is nice and a great board. Probably has the best info on signees and important stories for Tulsa Athletics. Chris does a great job over there but I like AAC board "feel" and think both could be a good community for Tulsa fans to show support.

Sorry, just now checking in here since the season started. After the echo chamber that was this summer I konda gave up on this board. But I'm glad to see you're trying to start it back up again.

Going 2-2 in the non con is right in line with most people's expectations I think. The conference slate is tough so I'm interested in seeing how we fair.

No worries it's an echo chamber in here, although occasionally we get some talk going. You and I are the only really consistent Tulsa posters so it will take some work to get the lurkers and occasional posters on the conference board to check here too. I hope rabid is doing ok, been a while since he has been posting. Got to build that critical mass.

Yeah overall I think Tulsa is playing to expectations preseason. I think we blew a chance to steal one from OSU. I thought Michigan St was to be expected some what new parts, on the road, still a decent showing minus our rushing woes. Beat up on a better than usual SJSU I guess. Almost gave away what should have been a solid but not in question WYO win but got.the job done.

I think the next 3-4 games will be tough and decide a lot about the rest of the season.

SMU is what it is. No need to rehash that.

If we can beat Navy this week I think we'll still be in good shape. This is a big game!
