WAC to Stream More Than 800 Events on WAC Digital Network in 2019-20
Quote:DENVER – More than 800 regular-season games will be live streamed by the WAC during the 2019-20 season. The WAC is partnering with BlueFrame Technology for the second straight year to air games live on its WAC Digital Network (WDN) (http://www.WACsports.com/watch).

These games will be available to viewers at no cost. The agreement also includes customized WDN streaming applications for television and mobile devices, including Android TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku (TV), iOS and Android (mobile).

In addition to the distribution and streaming technology that will power this digital network, the WAC is providing each of its member schools with BlueFrame's revolutionary Production Truck software. Production Truck allows broadcasters to add graphics, instant replay and other professional features to their live productions.

The WDN will also produce an additional 60 live events for ESPN on its over-the-top video streaming subscription service ESPN+. The agreement with ESPN includes the broadcasts of WAC tournaments and championships in men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's and women's basketball, softball and baseball. ESPN will produce and broadcast the men's and women's WAC basketball championship games to air on a platform in their family of networks.

An additional six WAC regular season men's basketball games will be produced by the WDN for ESPN+. Those games will be announced at the WAC Basketball Preview on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Hurd's backroom dealing with ESPN only hurts the WAC when it doesn't bring in any ******* coin.

The WAC really should hook up with Stadium. Use their platform for streaming like the MW and then have games via OTA like CUSA.

I like the company you guys are using. They have it setup very nicely for the conference to keep all ad revenue. The WAC and your Digital Network is ahead of many D1 and FBS conferences. I know you had a Roku channel but don’t know if you still have it.

I get the deal with ESPN because of the basketball championship and forcing you to put some games on the +, but would be nice to get a deal with Stadium to have some games broadcast on their TV channel.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for games to watch.
