Houston's ranking looks odd. Didn't they lose several important players and also did not have a great recruiting class. Maybe they got some good transfers?

At the offshore place I use, Memphis was +5000 a couple weeks ago. Now it’s +1400.

I'm not sure what's up with the link in the OP.

I know for a fact Memphis opened at 200-1 back in April.

Then suddenly we were at 40-1 a few weeks ago. Dropping since, but we did not open at 80-1.

Vols are 30/1 odds. I would expect them to be 'ranked' lower in this list, something like 50/1 or 100/1.
They lose their nucleus for 2019-20. they lose Grant W, admiral, and bone. Correct?

There was talk about 200/1 months ago. And I'm sure some publication printed that. But I doubt you could have found a book that would take that bet. If you did, congrats to you.

Every book in Vegas originally had Memphis at 200-1 for the first two weeks or so after the end of last season.
